The Evidence Vault
When you complete a check, take a photo with Troth's in-app camera. Each photo is sealed with a SHA-256 hash and added to an append-only chain, so any later change to a stored record becomes detectable. Export an evidence manifest and hash-chain verification as a PDF or CSV whenever you need to show your work.

Honest about what this is. The Evidence Vault is tamper-evident, not tamper-proof: the hash chain makes alteration detectable, but we do not guarantee records can never be altered, lost, or corrupted. Troth produces legal-ready documentation focused on the authenticity of a record — that it is unaltered since capture. It is not legal advice, and it does not establish admissibility or determine any inspection, audit, or legal outcome. Those decisions belong solely to the relevant court, regulator, or authority.
